Cos Cos Sean Nos Festival (May 1st to 7th)
Our 2017 Festival was a great week of trad music and dance. The festival ran over an entire week again, from May 1st to 7th, and comprised a wide variety of performances and activities. It opened with the spectacular “Gifts of Drumcliffe” community pageant involving over 150 volunteers. As well as featuring Johnny Connolly and Maití Joe, we also welcomed the great Michael Tubridy! We were also entertained by a wide variety of local and visiting musicians, poets, storytellers and bands, the highlight was the “Concert of Champions” and also the return of the famous Kilfenora Céilí Band, who played to a huge audience of devoted céilí dancers and fans. It was a great week of trad music and dance!

Cos Cos Sean Nos Festival (May 2nd to 8th)
Our 2016 Festival was a special one (aren’t they all?) as it was our 10th anniversary. For the first time the festival ran over an entire week, from May 2nd to 8th, and comprised a wide variety of performances and activities. It opened with the spectacular “Constance and Drumcliffe” community pageant involving over 150 volunteers. As well as featuring the Johnny Connolly and Maití Joe, we welcomed supergroup ‘Officially Tapped’ who brought with them a new level of energy in their music and dancing! As well as being entertained by a wide variety of local and visiting musicians, poets, storytellers and bands, the highlight was the return of the famous Kilfenora Céilí Band who played to a huge audience of devoted céilí dancers and fans. One to remember!
